Saint Kitts and Nevis is a twin-island nation located in the eastern Caribbean Sea, forming part of the Lesser Antilles.
It is the smallest sovereign state in the Western Hemisphere in both area and population. Saint Kitts, the larger of the two islands, is home to the capital city, Basseterre. The islands boast a rich colonial history, having changed hands between the British and French several times before gaining independence from the United Kingdom in 1983.
The culture reflects a blend of African, European, and Caribbean influences, evident in its music, cuisine, and festivals.

The economy of Saint Kitts and Nevis is primarily driven by tourism, real estate, and financial services, with sugar production having declined in importance. In recent years, the country has also gained attention for its Citizenship by Investment program, which allows individuals to obtain citizenship through economic contributions. Despite its small size, the nation is known for its natural beauty, including lush rainforests, volcanic mountains, and pristine beaches, making it a popular destination for travelers seeking a tranquil Caribbean experience.
