options:
- Business formation: By forming an LLC through a minimal investment of PYG 50 000 000, the applicant can obtain residence. This also requires a business plan outlining a spending of at least $70 000 throughout the next ten years.
- Bank deposit: the investment amounts to 35 minimal monthly wages, or PYG 76 748 400 (around $11 000). Iit can be deposited in any Paraguayan commercial bank and it does not bear interest. This option is only valid for countries that have visa free (or visa-on-arival) arrangements with Paraguay.
- Retirement: The applicant needs to demonstrate monthly income equal to 100 minimal wages (around $312).
- Temporary residency: Can be obtained within four months and last for up to two years.
